happy protein cake:) with % fo naughtiness

hi everyone~! i’ve lots to share but i was really busy these days so now i finally can make up a post for one of my newly invented recipes!!!!!:)


this time i want to add veggies and fruits together, and i chose blended apple chunks with CHOI SUM leaves for the babyfood place, and i add several egg whites for boosting in some extra protein.Image

yes. did i mention EXTRA? oh becuz my flour part will be substitute with sun warrior vanilla protein powder and coconut flour, with both are low cal and high protein.Image

sounds easy huh? add some ore stevia, salt and baking powder as usual gluten free dairy free cakes, then we can come on to TOPPINGS!!! like froyo in shops, you can add whatever u like, but just take care about the amount so you can stay with your portion control:)Image

i chose four of them: cinnamon, reese’s peanut butter chips, bob red mill’s extra thick rolled oats and sweetened cranberries.


i know…why i have to choose sweetened dried fruits? they’re all already sweet enough!!! yes but i have to confess, i’m just too lazy to find unsweetened ones, becuz i’ve already walked through like nearly seven stores but none of them are selling unsweetened ones:( sad.Image

after nearly 40mins, i took it out and returned to my room for online movie…then when i came out to the dining room again, the cake really collapse like what u see in the photos…Image

maybe i just add too much water to substitute the almond milk part as i wanted to minimize the cal as much as possible:(


and actually i add two 63% chocolate chips into my cake, as i found them under the pantry box while i’m throwing away some yogurt tubs and old choc chip bags.Image

funny. when i indulge into the cake, i seriously found that both chips worked out well!!! but still reese’s more.

you have to try this as it’s just a bit naughtier than jamie eason’s version while it will u SO MUCH happiness~!:)Image
